I'm based in Shellharbour, NSW and cover wollongong, Shellharbour, kiama, Gerringong, berry and south coast of nsw.

I’m a romantic at heart and storyteller behind the lens. I adore working with couples who are head over heels in love and want their wedding day captured in a way that feels elegant, natural, and timeless.
Photography has always been close to my heart. From a young age I loved looking through my parents photo albums, asking about all the people and places. When I was around 7 or 8, I got to use a camera (they were all film) and to me as a child it felt like I could make time stand still and be part of making records in history. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love and enjoy.
I’ve been capturing weddings since 2010. I originally learnt on film in the early 90's. In 2015-2017, I formally refreshed and refined my skills, earning a Diploma in Digital Imaging through CATC Design School.
Every love story is unique, and I consider it a true honour to document yours — not just with beautiful images, but with care, intention, and genuine emotion.

I take a documentary approach to your wedding day, capturing authentic moments as they unfold naturally: the joyful laughter, the quiet glances, the happy tears, and everything in between.
I believe in keeping things relaxed and easygoing, allowing you to feel comfortable and truly present in the moment. During your couple portraits, I’ll gently guide you with simple prompts to help bring out your natural connection, without ever making things feel stiff or over-directed.

What to expect
I am thrilled that you have taken the time to look at my work, and that you are considering booking me for your wedding, elopement or a couple photo session. Let's meet for a coffee and a chat either in person or via zoom. It is important that we are the right fit for your special day.
Here’s what you can expect when you choose me as your wedding photographer:
- A friendly and relaxed presence who blends into your day while capturing all the big moments and little details.
- A mix of candid, portrait, and photojournalistic imagery that tells the full story of your wedding.
- Gentle guidance during portraits to help you feel at ease and truly yourselves.
- A passion for creating emotive, story-driven images that reflect who you are and how your day felt.
- A professional yet personal experience from first inquiry to final delivery.
- Assistance with your timeline to ensure your day runs smoothly.
- Photographs that have been colour corrected. I edit mostly in Lightroom and prefer to get your images right in the camera. I do not photoshop your images, nor do I use AI, every image is personally edited by me (Kirsten).
- Professional Nikon cameras, lenses and equipment, with a back up of photography gear.
- All cameras have dual slots, with the cards changed at each interval of the day. I also back up all of the images taken to two different locations.

FAQ
How do we book?
First contact me to see if I am available for your date. Then we meet, either in person or via zoom.
I will send you a contract with an invoice. The deposit is to be paid to secure your date, and the balance is due prior to your wedding date.
Who will be our photographer on the day?
Kirsten will be your photographer. I never contract out different photographers to shoot weddings. I personally capture and edit all images.
Do you include digital files and can we print them ourselves?
Yes, I include high resolution digital files with every wedding and engagement session. You will be able to print any of the images we provide at home or at the photo lab of your choice. You can also choose to have them professionally printed with us.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, I find engagement sessions are a way to ease your mind and relax, especially for those that feel uncomfortable with the thought of having their photo taken. After your engagement session, you will know how easy going I am and that it can actually be a lot of fun.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Your wedding gallery will be available in around 4 to 6 weeks. This is sometimes earlier or longer depending on the season. Kirsten will be in contact with you throughout the process.
A sneak peak will be provided in around 48 hours.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes, these may be purchased in addition to your wedding or photo session.
How many photos do we get?
I do not cap or limit the amount of photos you receive.
Depending on the length of time you are booked. A longer wedding will produce more images. Generally, most weddings have a minimum of 50-80 images per hour of coverage.
Where are you based?
I live in Blackbutt, close to Shellharbour in the Illawarra, NSW.
