QUESTION & ANSWERS
What's in your wedding packages?
All the images captured on your day and in high resolution (that means they are of print quality), together with digital copies in black and white.
Kirsten personally captures and edits every wedding.
Book your wedding before the end of November 2019, and you will also receive a complimentary engagement session in Oakdale, a complimentary second photographer to capture the ceremony AND a gorgeous slideshow highlight of your wedding photos! This is only open for a limited time.
How many hours do we need?
Every wedding is different, however, we've found 8 hours to be the perfect amount of time that will allow enough opportunity to capture the starting points of the day through to a few hours into the reception. We want to ensure that we can accurately tell your story, from start to finish. Together we will go over your specific timeline details to ensure that you end up with the perfect package for you. For example, if your wedding has a long ceremony at a different location than the ceremony, a 10 hour package may be needed. Sometimes a little adjustment to your timeline will mean that you do not need to extend your time.
Can we meet?
Absolutely! We can meet in person, over the phone or via video chat.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. I believe you should select a photographer that you truly resonate with and love their work. We can go through, in full detail, previous weddings, albums and more!
How much are your packages?
Wedding photography packages start from $1,950.
Various options and inclusions are available, starting with only one photographer for up to 8 hours wedding coverage.
Payment plans are now available on all wedding photography, albums and enlargements.
Family portraits and couple photography packages are $550.
How do I book?
First, check that your date is still available. Then I like to have a meeting, either over the phone, video link or in person.
Select the package that works for you and I can email you a contract with all the details and inclusions.
Read and sign the contact, then pay your retainer deposit.
A signed contact and a retainer is required to secure your date.
When will I get my photos?
Weddings - Sneak previews always go out within a couple of days - I know you are super excited to see what was captured. My aim is to get all of your photos to you between 8-10 weeks. During peak wedding season (and over school holidays), this time may need to be adjusted.
When I prepare your wedding contract, I can give you an estimate on the turn around time.
I give my couples weekly updates on where I am at, so you don't have to chase me up!
Family and couple sessions are around 4 weeks - depending on the time of year.
Un-photogenic! Can you help?
Do you feel awkward and un-photogenic? I am happy to help! This is why I highly recommend an engagement or pre wedding photo session. You guys can see how easy it is with me. I can give you some hints and tips, and create a little fun to get those natural smiles.
Nobody likes awkward photos - and I personally am like a deer in headlights, so I completely understand how you feel.
Helping you to feel calm, natural and to trust me is all about us getting to know each other.
How many photos do we get?
For weddings, the photos are unlimited. We will give you all the photos (except for those accidental ones of my feet - those who have had a photo session or wedding with me, can attest to this!).
Roughly, an 8 hour wedding will have around 500 to 750 images, or even more. Then I make copies of these into black and whites! The longer we are booked, the more images.
Do we need an engagement session?
You may not need one, but what if you get one complimentary (no cost). Why pass up the chance to get a few free photos!
I do highly recommend a pre-wedding photo session. After a little photo session with me, you will trust me on your wedding day, and we can get over some of the awkwardness.
